Remembering Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara

Better to die standing, than to live on your knees. – Che.

The world is commemorating Che Guevara’s 50th Death Anniversary.  He was taken prisoner by Bolivian soldiers near the town of La Higuera in Bolivia and this  ‘El Comandante’ was executed the next day.  He died before I was even borne, but his life and works always inspired me.   He has been an icon of all revolutionaries who believed in Socialism. One similarity we have is, Ernesto was also a doctor like me!

Read more about him at The Hindu.
